Support and contact

Last updated 30 October 2026

Write to hello@playrecon.com about anything: your account, billing, data that looks wrong, or the PlayRecon plugin in ChatGPT and other AI assistants. A person reads every message.

Contact

  • Email: hello@playrecon.com. Include the email you sign in with, what you were doing and a link or screenshot of the page.
  • In the app: the Feedback button in the corner of every page at app.playrecon.com sends your message straight to us.
  • LinkedIn: linkedin.com/company/playrecon.

Use PlayRecon in ChatGPT

  1. In ChatGPT, open Plugins, find PlayRecon and select Connect.
  2. Sign in to PlayRecon with Google, GitHub or LinkedIn. A free account is created on first sign-in.
  3. Review the access screen and select Allow. The connection is read-only unless you tick “Allow changes”, which lets ChatGPT edit your watchlist, alerts and My game.
  4. Ask a question, for example “How many copies has Hades II likely sold on Steam?”

To disconnect, open the MCP page and select Disconnect next to ChatGPT under Connected apps. Access ends at once. You can also remove the plugin in ChatGPT.

Other AI assistants

Claude, Cursor, Codex and other assistants that support MCP connect to https://app.playrecon.com/api/mcp. Assistants that support sign-in open the same access screen as ChatGPT. For the others, create an access token on the MCP page; the Try MCP button in the app shows the exact setup for Claude Code and Codex.

Compute units

Every call an assistant makes uses compute units from your account. The MCP page shows your balance, when it resets and every call with its cost. If you run out, calls stop without charge until the monthly budget resets on the 1st (UTC); plans and compute unit packs are on the Plans page. The rules are in the Terms of Service.

Common problems

  • The assistant asks to sign in again. The connection was disconnected or has not been used for 90 days. Connect again; your account and data stay as they were.
  • “Not enough compute units”. The month’s budget is used up. Nothing is charged for refused calls.
  • The assistant cannot change my watchlist. The connection is read-only. Disconnect it on the MCP page and connect again with “Allow changes” ticked.
  • A number looks wrong. Sales and revenue are estimates given as a range, and data is as fresh as the latest daily update. If it still looks wrong, send us the game link.

Billing

Manage or cancel your plan on the Plans page. Payments are processed by Stripe. For invoices or questions about a charge, write to hello@playrecon.com.

Your data

To get a copy of your data or delete your account, write to hello@playrecon.com from the email you sign in with. What we collect and how long we keep it is in the Privacy Policy.

Security

If you find a vulnerability or think an access token has leaked, write to hello@playrecon.com with “Security” in the subject. Revoke a leaked token yourself on the MCP page.
